MOSH mobile wants to give you free cellphone service if you buy the phone. Currently in beta and invite only.

The only way I can think a cell phone service can be free is if they had an ads system that would send ads to the phone. Which would offset the cost. This was a feature in the Gizmondo called Smartadds but it never launched. And the only one who I think can pull off a free phone service with ads is google.
