Tim Cook runner up to Obama as Time's Person of the Year


Apple's CEO Tim Cook was very close to being Time's Person of the Year which went to President Obama.  Cook who took over the CEO duties from Steve Jobs managed to do a solid job replacing a legend in Jobs.

Samsung Galaxy S3 To Get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean


Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 To Get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will finally get the Android 4.1 update.  The AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile version of the phone already had Android 4.1.  Verizon was the last to get this update for the Samsung Galaxy S3.  The update will arrive on December 14th with a 64mb download.

Netflix names fastest ISP in U.S.


Netflix has released a report of the fastest ISP's in the U.S.  Google Fiber top the list followed by Verizon FiOS, Comcast and Charter.  My AT&T DSL ranked 15th and U-Verse ranked 11th.

Apple to produce some Macs in the USA


Apple CEO Tim Cook talked up that he will bring back manufacturing to the US.  Next year Apple will product a line of Macs here in the USA.  The company will spend $100 million dollars to move production from China to the US.
