Venzero FREQ - The First Media Player with Integrated FM Transmitter

Press Release

Munich, August the 20th – Venzero remains true to itself and presents a gadget with a unique technical novelty at the IFA trade show – an integrated FM Transmitter. Besides well proven features like the music recognition system, MUSICMARKER, the new Venzero FREQ transmits music via radio frequencies to any FM receiver without additional devices.

The new Venzero FREQ is the ideal gadget for everyone with high portable media player expectations. Besides audio, photo and video playback, the FREQ offers a unique speciality: an integrated FM Transmitter for wireless audio transmission to each radio. Whether to the HiFi system at home or to the car radio – no more cable tangle! Especially car drivers who don’t want to miss their favourite songs while on the go will love this feature. Because only a few cars have a Line-In connection and new cars commonly have a CD player installed, a cassette adapter is ineffective. Therefore, an FM Transmitter is the ideal solution!

Thanks to the 262,000 colour 2.4” TFT display, you can enjoy pictures and videos with the best quality and resolution. In audio mode, ID3 tags are supported with the option to simultaneously display the lyrics.. Besides the transmission of radio frequencies, the Venzero FREQ can also play FM radio. Because it has an integrated microphone, the player also serves as a voice recording device with the ingenious music recognition system MUSICMARKER. This function allows you to record short song clips, which will be recognized by the contained MUSICMARKER software, which then identifies the tracks by name and artist. There are no additional costs!

The Venzero FREQ will become available at the end of September 2007 from our online shop at www.venzero.com and in well-assorted retail stores. The recommended retail price is GBP 69 / Euro 99 / USD 99.

Avant Browser - The IE and Firefox killer browser has arrived

About - The Avant Browser stands out from the rest because of its speed, performance, and rich features. The Avant Browser is a standalone application designed to improve internet browsing by expanding and customizing services provided by Internet Explorer. Avant uses fewer system resources to ensure faster web page loading. It also: blocks pop-ups, online profile storage account (saves user’s bookmarks/configuration and can be accessed from any PC); lets users perform frequently used browse operations with mouse movements, and more.

History - I have tried almost every browser out there. First with IE which most everyone knows about. But Internet Explorer had one major flaw. Too many hackers trying to exploits it's security holes which lead to more viruses, trojans, and popups. And this is the reason I went with the highly rated Firefox. Only the problem with Firefox is that it crashes constantly that at one point I switch to IE for a week which was a big mistake. I ended up with a trojan from a popup that IE didn't block. So that is the last time I used IE.

Something new - I wanted to try out a new browser. So I went through Opera, Safari for Windows, and several others. Then I was alerted about Avant Browser and there latest version which is completely free and adfree.

Features -
Online Profile Storage
Autofills
Flash Animation Filter
Built in Ad/Pop-Up Blocker
Built in RSS/Atom Reader
Additional Mouse Functions
Multi Window Browsing
Read Full Screen Mode
Built in Search Engine
Full IE Compatibility
Control your privacy
Safe Recovery
Customizable Skins

Real experience with browser - After tested the browser for a week I don't think I will go back to either IE or Firefox. In fact it's an actually balance of the two popular browsers. Pretty much all the features I want in a browser and fast too.

Conclusion: I was using Google before it was the #1 rated search engine. So I like to think I can see the next great thing. And I think the Avant Browser could be that for browsers. The Avant Browser has a ton of features and after use, it's my new favorite browser.

Download the browser for free at

htc kaiser: the italian preview

Here's yet another video of the HTC Kaiser in action.

Sony recalls 350,000 cameras

Sony announced Thursday it's recalling 350,000 digital cameras, a point-and-shoot model called the Cyber-shot DSC-T5 released in 2005, because of a problem that could cause metal on the bottom of the camera to cut or scratch the photographer.

The Japanese electronics giant will replace the part and pay shipping for free for anyone affected by the problem. The warping problem, cased by an irregularity in adhesive strength, only affects cameras with serial numbers between 3500001 and 3574100, the company said.

USB Memory Watch

You may recall from Episode IV that R2 was carrying some important files destined for delivery to Obi-Wan. These files were, of course, a distress message from Princess Leia and plans for the Empire's newly operational battle station. These plans played a critical part in the successful destruction of the Death Star. If you want to be a hero, just like R2, then we suggest you carry your files on this USB Memory Watch.

In addition to displaying the time, this watch helps you carry your valuable data with you at all times (you know - your MP3 files, favorite images, your ThinkGeek shopping list). With 2GB of capacity it has more than ample storage.

The USB Memory Watch has a built-in USB connector and can transfer files to and from most computer operating systems. The USB connector is cleverly stored in the watch band and flips up for easy connecting. There is also a LED light that indicates the device status. The watch is surprisingly sleek and lightweight - it is not a bulky watch. The band is comfortable and very flexible.

Google sidesteps mobile reports

Google has refused to deny mounting speculation that it is working to produce its own brand mobile phone.

Reports suggest that the web giant is developing a series of"GPhones", centred on its mobile services, such as search, e-mail and maps.

In a statement, Google said it was working with carriers, phone makers and content providers to "bring its services to users everywhere".

The firm would not say if its efforts included plans for a handset.

The Google statement said: "What our users and partners are telling us is that they want Google search and Google applications on mobile, and we are working hard every day to deliver that."
