Components That Make Mobile Phones Better in 2017

As mobile phone technology continues to advance, it's hard to believe that even just a few short years ago mobile phones were little more than devices that allowed you to make and receive calls. Now, they're something else entirely – thanks to the type of apps that one can install, the electronics components hidden inside the case and features like the operating system, you can do everything from run your personal life to run a business all from a device that fits comfortably into the palm of your hand. There are a few key electronics components that stand to take the already impressive devices that we own and make them even more amazing in 2017 and beyond.

The Screen
Since the release of Apple's iPhone in 2007, one of the most important electronics components in a mobile phone has and will always be the screen. These deceptively simple parts need to service a number of different goals all at once. They need to respond to human touch in organic and reliable ways, for example, as more and more phones are relying purely on touch for all user interactions. They also need to cram as many pixels as possible into such a small surface area for the highest possible resolution, all while using as little energy as possible to help preserve battery life. As mobile phone technology continues to advance, it will be truly amazing just how efficient, practical and high quality the screen on these devices truly becomes.

Fingerprint Identification Sensors
Fingerprint identification sensors are electronics components that help make sure that a person's mobile phone is as safe and as secure as possible at all times. Keep in mind that a mobile phone is now more than just a simple phone – if your personal or business device falls into the wrong hands, it's possible that it could be used by someone with malicious intentions to steal your identity or worse, ruin your company. Fingerprint identification sensors replace or supplement (depending on the device) a traditional password system to help make sure that you are truly the only person who has access to your phone at any given time. While current fingerprint identification technology is already impressive, expect electronics components manufacturers to take things to the next level by the time 2017 rolls around.

The Battery
The reputation of many mobile phones have lived and died based on the total battery life that is promised by the phone's original manufacturer. People are on their phones all day long – this is something that is inarguably part of the appeal of the devices in the first place. The mobile phone batteries of 2017 and beyond need to accomplish a few different goals all at once. First, they need to be able to provide the type of “all day” battery life that people can depend on to help make sure that they don't find themselves with a “dead” device before they're ready. Secondly, they need to keep getting smaller as electronics components to help prevent the phones themselves from becoming too large.

While there are a wide range of different electronics components that are making mobile phones better in 2017 and beyond, one of the most important factors that is guaranteeing progress has nothing to do with the parts themselves. As technology continues to advance, the relationship between mobile phone manufacturers and their suppliers is becoming more and more important.

Verical.com is an electronics parts supplier that is attempting to level the playing field and make sure that companies have the electronics parts that they need to release the highest quality products to consumers everywhere. Verical users a pedigree scoring system to help give companies as much information as possible about a part before a purchase is made. This scoring system guarantees the authenticity of electronics parts, for example, and also helps clue people in on their proper intended use, the warranty status and more – all with the intention of allowing them to always make the best possible choices with consumers in mind.

WorldPenScan X Review

WorldPenScan X is a digital pen that scans, converts, and translate documents into digital form.  The device is perfect for world travelers that need to quickly translate a document on the fly to their Tablet or mobile phone.  The product initially launched on Kickstarter and now is available through etailers like Amazon.com.

WorldPenScan X is a small digital pen in white made of mostly plastic construction.  The digital pen scanner has a power button, function key and scan tip with button and wheel.  The end of the digital pen has a USB cable to charge the device.  The function light changes colors to notify you that the products is working and doing it's function.  The WorldPenScan X works with iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.  The

The WorldPenScan X was tested with an iPad and without much effort I was up and running.  I downloaded the app using the Apple Store which is a free download.  Once I downloaded the app I connected the device by powering on the device and it connected automatically using Bluetooth.

The app supports translation of  Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, among several other languages.  In addition the software recognize barcodes and bank fonts such as OCR-A, OCR-B, MICR on PCs.

Since I am Korean I thought I translate Korean words to English.  I simply pressed on the text on a flat surface and hit the function key and then when finish scanning I hit the function key again.  The app would then display the Korean text and then translate it to English.  The translation is not perfect but similar to Google Translate.  Easier languages like Spanish would more than likely result in almost perfect translations.

Overall the WorldPenScan X works exactly as described.  I like how it translate foreign language with ease.  I found the post office won't accept addresses in foreign languages so I use the WorldPenScan X to translate Korean addresses to English.

Beware Tinypic reuse links

I noticed a recently upload pic on Tinypic has changed to another pic uploaded by another user.  Apparently Tinypic does reuse links to keep them from getting a too long URL.  The problem is you get a total random pic in place of the pic you uploaded.  This is not good for forums and blogs where you might get banned for content.

CCleaner is awesome fixed missing bottom toolbar

My computer for some reason was missing the bottom toolbar.  It was not autohide or anything like that.  I was trying to figure it out all day.  The desktop would not let me drag or drop.  It would not allow me to open programs like Firefox.  I kinda figure it was my hard drive dying.  Until I saw a post on some random forum to use CCleaner.  I had some photos that I did not backup and was unable to copy to flash drive because Windows was acting up.  After 10 hours of trying to problem solve the issue I clicked on CCleaner and it was the only program that was still working under Windows.  I clicked fix registry errors and then nothing happen.  Then I rebooted windows and finally everything was back to normal.

What I thought was a dead hard drive ending up being registry errors.  Had I known to use CCleaner in the beginning I would have save grief from trying to figure it out.
