Asus EEE S101H

Apparently there will be a new Asus S101 with a hard drive called S101H. Seems a bit odd since they already have the 1002HA which is quite similar to the S101 but with a hard drive. We shall see how different the S101H will be compared to the S101 and 1002ha.

Intel says no to Nvidia for partnership on Netbooks

Intel is apparently not playing nice as Intel has no plans to bundle Intel Atom chips with Nvidia ION platform. This means they will continue with their lowly Intel 945GSE and 945GC chipset. Most believe the reason is that these little Netbooks are improving spec wise so much so that people are not buying those expensive laptops with higher profit margins.

Laptops outship Desktops for first time

Could be the influx of Netbooks or not taking it to account how many people build their own PCs. But for the first time worldwide Laptop outship their Desktop counterparts. According to iSuppli, global notebook computer shipments exceeded those of desktops for the first time ever in Q3 of this year, a "watershed event" according to it. More specifically, notebook PC shipments surged around 40% to 38.6 million units, while desktop shipments slipped 1.3% to 38.5 million.

Cyber E Sport Orbita Mouse

I have seen many mice but this mouse by Cyber E Sport peeks my interest with their revolutionary continuous scroll action. Just spinning the mouse in a circle can scroll through web pages. From the video it looks much more fluid than my mouse which most of the time is stuck and when scrolling works it either too fast or too slow. With the Orbita Mouse this could be good if it looks as good as the demo vid. The Orbita Mouse will work for both Mac and PC and will be release at the end of the month.

* First all purpose media wireless mouse
* Revolutionary continuous scroll action makes surfing the web and editing video, audio and text so much easier.
* Mac and PC compatible
* Adjustable top and side shell buttons
* Cadmium Nicol long life rechargeable battery.

Asus EEE 904HA reviewed

GadgetMix got a chance to check out the Asus EEE 904HA. And here is their verdict on the netbook:

It is around 100gm lighter than the 1000H and has front facing speakers. It has the same resolution as the EEE 1000H. The difference of screensize is just 1.3″, which is just not noticeable to me as I was using both the devices at the same time. It is also around $50-80 cheaper depending upon from where you buy it. But to me, the front facing speakers and lighter weight wins the battle over 1000H.

New Xbox 360 Arcade includes 256mb built in memory

With parts getting cheaper MS has decided to make a minor upgrade of their lowest cost 360. All new Xbox 360's will have 256mb of built in memory to save games and download content right off the bat. I think this is good as too often companies make optional things not include when they should be.

So far no one knows the formula MS is using to decide what gives you instant Cashback savings.

New MacBook Air Reviewed by SlashGear

Vincent Nguyen of SlashGear had a chance to check out the new MacBook Air. He found it to be a major upgrade in specs across the board. But still the price is what stops most of us from buying a Mac.

The Air remains Apple’s niche road-warrior option; now those owners can spend more time battling the competition than their notebook. If you fit the profile, you won’t be disappointed.
