The $99 microconsole is off to a good start as both Amazon and Gamestop have sold out of the Android microconsole Ouya.  The problem is that some of those who funding the project through Kickstarter still do not have a console in hand.  Ouya claims most of the backers who did not get units are overseas where shipping is much more difficult to track.  Ouya blames their Chinese partners and DHL for dropping the ball.

Police called to Ouya's E3 booth

Ouya instead of paying for a booth inside E3 decided to rent a space in the parking lot.  This apparently angered the folks at E3.  The E3 owner called the cops on Ouya so they would go away.  Ouya in return supplied to proper papers and the cops were on there way.  I guess this is just more free press for Ouya who seems to be spreading the news on social news sites.

Redesigned $100 bill coming in October

The $100 bill will once again get a redesign to add even more security.  A couple of weeks ago I got $100 bill from the bank.  When I tried to use it the retail store didn't accept it as it didn't have the security strip.  Apparently the Benjamin was a $1980's bill which lacked any of the security features of today.  Starting Oct 8th you will see a new $100 that adds blue, 3-D security ribbon and a disappearing Liberty Bell in an inkwell.
