Apple moving to chips made by TSMC
Apple is deciding to move chip manufacturing from Samsung to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. The company wants to be less dependent with Samsung after the fallout with lawsuits accuses former friend now foe of patent infringement. TSMC will be making 20 nanometers which will power next gen devices. Samsung will continue to make chips until obligations are met and Apple transitions with TSMC.
