Garmin has released a new larger and budget friendly line of GPS systems. Garmin's new essential series includes 5 inch and 6 inch screens. Those screens are huge compared to my Garmin GPS that has a 3.5 inch screen.
The 5 inch screen GPS will include the the nüvi 55 and 56 range. The 6 inch screen GPS will include the the nüvi 65 and 66 range. The pricing will be nuvi 55 £89.99, nuvi 65 £139.99, nuvi 56LM £129.99 and nuvi 66 for £159.99.
The Essential Series comes with choice of mapping (UK/ Ireland, Western Europe and Europe), with many products including the option of Lifetime Map (LM) updates. The split screen and other useful features help drivers to negotiate confusing junctions with ease, while turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names, safety camera sites, school zone warnings and your predicted arrival time all help to take the stress out of a journey – and help you get more out of the whole experience.
