Blackberry was doing sales that kept the Playbook at $199 for a limited time. Well it looks like the sale is now a permanent price drop for the Playbook. Blackberry will keep the Playbook at $199 which is the same price of the Kindle Fire. At this price it will be a nice choice for those who want a cheap tablet.

HP makes cuts to webOS division

HP has decided to cut 270 jobs in its webOS division. HP will still have 200 employees working on webOS as a Open Source OS. Some of the 270 employees cut will get relocated to other departments in the company.
