Netbooks were originally supposed to be cheap. But on average most cost between $300 to $800 dollars. But here comes Freescale with their low cost chip that they promise will bring us $199 Netbooks by Summer. They already have a prototype and it looks nice from a design point of view. If what is under the hood can run Linux at a decent rate then this could be a winner. Check out the link HERE to watch some videos of the Prototype in action.
