Barnes and Noble made a mistake when only allowing consumers to use 1GB of the 16GB for their own files. This pissed off more than a few customers and now B&N is offering to re-partition the Nook Tablet to allow for more space for you to do with what you choose. You just have to take your Nook to a retail store and B&N will re-partition the drive to 8GB split with 5.5GB for B&N content.
