THE VERDICT

Selling in a $200 price range, the LINQ has some good things going for its price, such as the WIFI application and MusicMarker service. Although Venzero did not shy away from introducing new features, in this case, it is clear the innovations have had the upper hand. Standard features such as the dull graphics and stiff navigation controls should have been thought out better.

The new Venzero FREQ is the ideal gadget for everyone with high portable media player expectations. Besides audio, photo and video playback, the FREQ offers a unique speciality: an integrated FM Transmitter for wireless audio transmission to each radio. Whether to the HiFi system at home or to the car radio – no more cable tangle! Especially car drivers who don’t want to miss their favourite songs while on the go will love this feature.
