I got a chance to review ThinkGeek MP3 Retro Speaker Amp. This item has been reduce to only $14.99 which makes it quite a bargain. The MP3 speaker can be used with either 3 x AAA Batteries or a USB connection to your laptop or PC.

First off this is a great solution if you want a loud good sounding speaker for your laptop or MP3 player. I tried it with my HP 2140 Mini Netbook and it works like a dream. Offer better sound for listening to music or movies than the internal speakers. Same goes for when I use it with the iPod Touch 32gb. The iPod touch has built in speakers but the Retro speaker offers bigger sound that can fill a room

The only real negative I found was that the Speaker was a tad bulk and heavy if you want to travel with it. This is ideal for home use.

If you want a external speaker for your MP3 player or Netbook that provides a retro feel while bringing big sound that can fill a room with enough bass to hear your favorite tunes then take a look at the ThinkGeek MP3 Retro Speaker Amp.
